GMM Nonstick Coatings has been acquired by Showa Denko K.K. (SDK) (TYO:4004), a Japanese chemicals conglomerate. Stenvall Skoeld & Company Limited (SSCO) acted as exclusive financial advisor to the shareholders of GMM Nonstick Coatings.
Headquartered in Hong Kong and with manufacturing and R&D centers in China and India, GMM Nonstick Coatings (“GMM”) is a fast-growing specialty coatings company that specializes in producing customized nonstick coatings to the global cookware, bakeware, and small electric appliance industries. Every day more than 40 million Americans use products coated with GMM’s coatings.
Founded in 1939, SDK has more than 180 subsidiaries and affiliates around the world active in five business sectors: petrochemicals, aluminum, electronics, chemicals, and inorganic materials. GMM will be the platform company of a new SDK business unit.
