China Three Gorges to buy German wind park Meerwind from Blackstone—Reuters, 13/6/2016 “China Three Gorges will buy German offshore wind park Meerwind from U.S. buyout firm Blackstone…The terms of the sale were not disclosed but people familiar with the process have told Reuters that they expected it to be valued at around 1.6 billion euros .”

ASML to acquire Taiwan’s Hermes Microvision for $3.1 Billion, Bloomberg, 15/6/2016 “ASML Holding NV agreed to buy Taiwan-based Hermes Microvision Inc. for about NT$100 billion ($3.1 billion) to add technology for creating smaller and more advanced semiconductors…ASML is financing its purchase with cash, about 1.5 billion euros ($1.7 billion) of debt and 500 million euros of ASML stock that will be bought by Hermes Microvision’s main shareholder and the Taiwanese company’s executives.”
